🍑🫙🥳❤️‍🔥 FRESH-PICKED PEACH BUTTER’S COMING BACK FOR 2024 🍑🫙🥳❤️‍🔥 AND it’s coming back BETTER! 😃  How could it POSSIBLY be any better, you may ask⁉️😆😉  For the first time and, hopefully, from here on out 🤞, I’m going to be using Ohio-grown peaches from Branstool Orchards 🍑❣️🎉👏 

I’m honestly not sure why 🤷‍♀️ and uber embarrassed 🫣 by the fact that I’ve never used local peaches before. 🤦‍♀️  It’s so unlike me and such a no-brainer that I’m sort of flummoxed. 😶🤨 Well, I finally got my mashed potato brain 🥔🧠 in gear ⚙️🤪 and I’m SO flipping excited about this gorgeous ✨ ingredient change. 😁🧡

So, without further ado, the preorder list for your jars of Fresh-Picked Peach Butter is OPEN‼️🍑🫙🍑🫙🍑  Each 8oz jar will be $8.00 (same price as in 2022 🎊🤑).  Payment is due before delivery, which is usually late Summer (August/September). 🌻 Having a preorder list gives me an approximate number of pounds of peaches I’ll need to purchase.  This guarantees that I’ll have enough jars available for you, based on what you think you’ll want. ✅ You aren’t locked into purchasing anything. 🚫🔒  I usually have a few jars left over to offer to any latecomers but they sell out fast and I can’t make any promises, if you’re not on the list. 🙃

I’ve so many fond memories of hanging out in my grandma’s farmhouse kitchen…watching her make delicious homemade candy , constantly stirring the pot with her big, wooden spoon , while she talked about her life on the farm & the current gossip she’d “accidentally” overheard on the party line (shared telephone landline , for all you youngsters ) she shared with her neighbors in the little, West Virginia hollow she called home. I can also wax nostalgic about sitting in a church basement, as the church ladies spooned melted, pastel colored, candy melts into plastic molds shaped like baby chicks , bunnies , flowers , & crosses. They added paper sticks to make Easter lollipops that they’d sell to the congregation members to help fund various church projects. I distinctly remember the sweet creaminess of the candy & the way the paper sticks would fall apart & you’d end up pulling paper bits out of your mouth.

Memories like this are what lead me down the road to trying my hand at making homemade candy. Because I’m pretty much obsessed with trying to spread love out into the universe thru my everyday actions &, of course, my baking, the first molds I chose were heart-shaped. I bought my molds last fall , so finally being ready to introduce my candy now was definitely fortuitous , especially with Valentine’s Day coming up.

I’m simultaneously excited & a bit nervous to introduce… Wooden Spoon Sweets! Each candy, on average, weighs a very indulgent, meant-for-sharing 5+ ounces (approximately 3”x 3”x 2”) & is jam-packed with mix-ins. Using a combination of real chocolate , a variety naturally flavored candy morsels (no candy melts here! ), & a myriad of all natural mix-ins , I’ve created 10 flavors I think you’ll love , with tons more flavors to come, if sales warrant.

Each individual candy is $6.00 & comes heat-sealed in a labeled , cellophane bag , making it perfect for gifting. To qualify for free, local delivery (within the Delaware City School District) , there’s a minimum purchase of 2 candies or 1 candy along with another goodie I sell. There are no minimum purchase requirements for porch pickups at my home in Delaware, Ohio , or shipping to anywhere in Ohio.

The Blue Barnstead grows botanicals/herbs on her Ohio farm (26 miles away ) & uses them to make all her plant-based skincare. In our Farmstand Holiday Tin, you’ll get:

1 Cafe Vanilla Whipped Body Polish (2 oz) w/a small, wooden spoon (ingredients: cocoa butter, pumpkin seed oil [infused with whole vanilla beans, coffee beans, cinnamon, chamomile], organic cane sugar, ground coffee, vanilla bean powder, vanilla plantifolia, vitamin e)

You’ll get 1 dozen Del City Farm cookies heat sealed in cellophane bags in 4 flavors: 3 Farmhouse Chocolate Chip , 3 Snowfall Sugar , 3 Buttered Pecan Spice , & 3 Cinnamon Cocoa-Mel.

You’ll get an 8 oz jar of Del City Farm Peel-On Apple Butter. I make each batch using the organic McIntosh & Golden Delicious apples from my own trees , lots of cinnamon/nutmeg/ginger/cloves, & a bit of cane sugar (< 4 tsp).

Sustainability’s the focus of the packaging. Behrens Metalware 1 Gallon Galvanized Steel Utility Pan (13″Lx13″Wx2.5″H) is made in the USA, recyclable, weather resistant, & watertight. Once empty, you can reuse it in many ways: in your garage, for pets, as a fun centerpiece on your table, etc. The items are cushioned in a bed of shredded, recycled, kraft paper grocery bags & the tin’s also wrapped in these bags. It’s all tied up with a jute bow & Norway Spruce twig from my yard.

There’re only 20 Farmstand Holiday Tins at $39.00 each. They’ll be ready for free delivery within my delivery area (Delaware, Ohio, city school district/limits) or porch pickup starting Dec. 18th. Shipping’s not available.
