Want to know how my Peel-On Apple Butter happens? πŸ€” Well, it starts with harvesting the organic McIntosh & Golden Delicious apples from the two trees in my front yard! 🍏🍎 This year’s bounty yielded seven 5-gallon buckets worth! 😳😍

The second step in making my Peel-On Apple Butter is processing the apples. 🍎🍏πŸ”ͺ As the name suggests, I leave the nutrient dense peel on the apples. 😊 I core them, quarter them, and then food process them until they are about the consistency of applesauce. I add just enough sugar (it works out to about 4 teaspoons per 8 ounce jar) to give it some sweetness and a ton of spices! πŸ˜‹ I generally make two full crockpots at a time and it cooks for about 10 hours.πŸ˜…β™¨οΈ
