One of the few memories I have of my paternal grandpa is his love of sweets. 🍬 He died, when I was only 5 years old, but I still remember his breath, when he held me on his lap, being scented like maple and peanuts aka Brach’s Maple Nut Goodies. 🍁🥜☺️ Brach’s (originally “Brach’s Palace of Sweets”) first introduced these delightful treats in 1912 and they were continuously produced for 110 years. 😳🤩 Sadly, they were discontinued in 2022. 🥺💔

Today, I’m tickled to death to present a new chewy, snappy cookie flavor that harkens back to these old fashioned, tasty confections:  MAPLE-NUT TOFFEE❣️🥳  It took me 3 attempts to finalize this recipe that consists of delicious ingredients like unsalted butter, real maple sugar, fresh roasted peanuts, little chunks of yummy, buttery toffee, a splash of maple flavor that actually contains organic maple syrup and molasses, and a smidgen of sea salt.  🍁🥜🧈🌊🧂✨

As the name suggests, these cookies came about while reminiscing about going to rural fairs 🚜 and small town carnivals 🎈, when I was a kid growing up in West Virginia. ☺️  I remember there being big, open air tents 🎪, with tables full of all sorts of scrumptious looking, homemade cookies and baked goods for sale and the cookies looked HUGE in my small hands. 👁️👄👁️🤲 

Ever since I opened Del City Farm back in 2017, so many of you have suggested/requested that I offer larger cookies and, for whatever crazy reason 🤷‍♀️, it never happened, until now. 😍  

Country Fair Cookies are 💯% bigger than my standard cookies aka 2 cookies by weight 🍪🍪 and they’re available in all 33 of my cookie flavors. 😁  They’re also priced the same as my regular dozen cookies by weight, meaning you’ll get 6 Country Fair Cookies for $10.00 or 12 for $20.00. 😃
