I’ve been working on this recipe and looking forward to posting this announcement, since late summer , so here goes! Introducing my newest cookie flavor: Cinnamon Cocoa-Mel

This sinfully indulgent cookie is made using 100% real cocoa , a robust amount of ground cinnamon , real butter , brown cane sugar, organic eggs , and all natural caramel morsels. And, to help mellow the sweetness a bit , I also added a tad more sea salt than my normal recipes, so you can enjoy eating more cookies at a time (you’re welcome ).

This year, this new flavor will be sold exclusively in my 3rd annual holiday gift sets (announcement coming December 1st ); however, the flavor will be a permanent addition to my cookie offerings, with order fulfillment beginning the week of January 7th.

Surprise! I have a new, very limited edition product announcement! That’s right! My test batch was a success! Introducing Green Camp Pear Butter* This decadent fruit butter contains only two ingredients: organically grown, local, unpeeled pears and the pleasant spicy warmth of organic ground cardamom. The pears were so naturally sweet and nonacidic that no added sugar was even needed.

I only have jars to sell this year but, if those sell well and the feedback from the buyers is positive, I’ll, hopefully, be able to make it again next year and in larger quantities.

Each 8oz jar is $7.00.

Please note that, while this yummy fruit butter is smooth and spreadable, it is made with pears and all pears notoriously contain naturally occurring sclereids, also known as stone cells, that cause the granular texture found in all pear-based foods.
